What to Expect in Chakras on a Sagittarius Full Moon

We’ve made it into a Sagittarius full moon after going through the Scorpio full moon where we were focused on intensity, transformation, and the ability to get in touch with deeply felt emotions. As the moon goes through Sagittarius now the focus shifts to lightness, optimism, and a desire to move, travel, and expand our interests as we seek inner truth.

When the full moon arrives as the cycle goes… it’s a time to release what’s been standing in our way of uncovering our own power in these areas.

Where are you caught up in details? Bogged down by routine? Unwilling to look at the big picture? Whatever your struggles are with expanding your horizons and areas of interest, now is the time to peacefully let them go and move on!

In this post, I’ll talk about your chakras on a Sagittarius full moon, the power of the full moon in Sagittarius, walk through the concept and influence of its elemental force, and share the most prominent chakra that will be present so you can work with the incoming energy in a way that is to your advantage in your life and career.

Ready to look at the zodiac, the Sagittarius full moon, and chakras and understand where healing is possible for you?

WHAT CHAKRA IS ASSOCIATED WITH THE FULL MOON?

Simply put, it depends on which zodiac sign the full moon travels through. Your chakras on a Sagittarius full moon are different than on a Scorpio full moon and different than how they react to a Gemini full moon.

As the moon moves through the zodiac signs astrologists believe that its travel influences our life, much like the sun does. (lunaf.com) So, let’s look at what you can expect in your chakras on the Sagittarius full moon.

What to Expect in the Chakras on a Sagittarius Full Moon

WHEN THE FULL MOON IS IN SAGITTARIUS

Regardless of what your moon sign is, we all feel the influence of the moon in Sagittarius a few days a month. Your tendencies to seek inner truth by looking at the big picture so you can change things and pursue new things and ideas may be heightened or you may find during this time you’re more inclined to ‘wing it’, be spontaneous and seek new adventures to satisfy a deep emotional longing.

Is there something you’ve been wanting to do but have been putting off? Something that will help you get in touch with who you are and how you want to live? Tired of fake-ness? Ready for authenticity? This may be a time when it comes to the surface to be healed.

When the full moon is in Sagittarius, we live for wisdom and knowledge, and vision and are ready to take steps to align ourselves with our inner truth and release anything that’s standing in our way of uncovering things that are holding us back.

Try this affirmation for the Sagittarius full moon to help you find the satisfaction you seek during this time. “I throw things up in the air, not because I have to because I can.”

SAGITTARIUS CLASSICAL ELEMENT

Fire is the element of heat and as fire burns, it’s associated with an upward motion, transformation, and hence the dynamic push to expand and move.

When the fire element of Sagittarius is combined with the characteristics of the full moon there’s an extra powerful energy backing you to connect with your inner truth and do what resonates with you and makes you feel good.

Aries, Leo, and Sagittarius are zodiac signs that embody the fire element and its qualities of impulsiveness, boldness, spontaneity, courage, and moving forward. But the Sagittarius full moon energy is different with more of a focus on finding lightness, optimism, and expansion within that expansion and movement.

Want to move forward and change things? Do something out of the ordinary and spontaneous without considering the details? The fire element influence is at work for you.

What can you do? Feel into what you want. Tap into your longing and make sure it’s right for you before acting. Not sure how to do this? This emotional awareness blueprint may help! Even though you may feel impulsive and just want to go and move and change things… take a moment to make sure it’s what you really want to offset the push of the fire element in a transitory Sagittarius moon.

WHAT CHAKRA GOES WITH SAGITTARIUS?

Sagittarius is all about airiness and weightlessness and broadening horizons. Whether it’s enthusiasm, expectation, growing, moving, spreading your wings, or seeking inspiration, we are ready to find it.

When the moon was in Scorpio and the sacral chakra was activated, we were focused on emotional complexities but now, as the full moon transitions into Sagittarius, the focus moves up to our solar plexus chakras with the help of the fire element, and the heart chakra as we seek our inner longing, and even further up to the crown chakras as we look for wisdom and inspiration. Underlying all of this is an element of spontaneity and a desire to take action to do what makes us feel good, upbeat, and adventurous.

The solar plexus chakra is also called the Manipura chakra or third chakra and is in the solar plexus area of the body. It is associated with our sense of who we are, our personal power, and our self-expression. The heart chakra is also called the Anahata chakra or the fourth chakra of the 7 chakras and is located in the center of the breastbone. It is associated with love, relationships, and our heart’s desire or longing. The crown chakra is also called the Sahasrara chakra or the seventh primary chakra and is found at the top of the head. It is associated with higher wisdom, universal consciousness, and inspiration.

So, what does this all mean? On a Sagittarius full moon, it’s a good time to use the innate influence of the lunar phase to take inspired actions and connect with your inner truth.

What does the big picture look like for you? What makes you feel good and gives you a sense of freedom? Can you do things without getting bogged down in details? Do you constantly have to have a plan? Or maybe you have such a rigid routine that any slight variation makes you feel anxious?

The Sagittarius full moon is a good time to shift this energy. Feel into what no longer works for you. Have the courage to seek higher wisdom and let yourself be inspired then take the actions that feel appropriate. Get outside and walk, participate in outdoor activities, or plan your next vacation and let yourself release what no longer serves you so you can embody the fullness of your being.

Using chakras and the zodiac to release what no longer serves you and attract what you want more of in your life is really about finding balance, and it’s not just big-picture things. Paying attention to your chakras and the moon can bring you balance, healing, and peace… It’s truly a window into what aligns on every level of life.

HOW DOES THE FULL MOON IN SAGITTARIUS AFFECT YOU?

Do you notice a shift in your energy on the full moon? What gets illuminated in your life that you’re ready to release? Full moons are associated with a peak in energy and are traditionally a time to release what no longer serves us and let go of what we’re carrying so we can create space for things that support our highest good. As we set intentions on the new moon, let go and reflect on the full moon, we tap the natural cycles of release, surrender, and renewal.

As the Sagittarius full moon is all about expanding our horizons using the energy of the solar plexus, heart, and crown chakras, focus on feeling into your heart’s desires then let yourself be inspired to try new things so you can feel how you want to feel moving forward.

What are you ready to release that’s preventing you from connecting with your inner truth? How have you neglected what you’ve been feeling and held yourself back? What’s showing up for you?

Because the full moon is peak energy, it’s a perfect time to tap into its power and do a bit of self-examination and go deeper so you can rid yourself of old fears and beliefs and limiting habits.

Why unblock your chakras? Basically, so you can get a greater sense of who you are and how your life is in alignment (or not) with living your truth. Balancing chakras can create balance in our lives and bring us pleasure and hope and desire and a yearning to feel something that arises within us!

Sometimes the best way to go through this lunar phase is to get out and let ourselves be inspired by trying new things and spreading our wings. Set your intention to release what no longer serves you, meditate to open your solar plexus, heart, and crown chakras then sit back relax and trust that the forces of astrology, your chakras, and the elements have all aligned.
